The Lake View Wild Gators boys captured a 2-point, 50-48, overtime win over visiting Green Sea Floyds on Tuesday, January 8, in this closely contested varsity basketball action.
After the first period of play, Green Sea Floyds held a slim 1-point lead. At halftime, Lake View held a slim 1-point lead. At the end of regulation time, the score was knotted.
Lake View’s Tieray Blue scored a game-high 21 points. Ja’Correus Ford added 6 points while Jiqyle Reaves placed 4 points on the scoreboard. Fred Reaves and Elijah Bethea each scored 3 points while Marquise Johnson, Dylan Bullock, Da’Correus Ford, Michael McInnis, and Willie Wheeler scored 2 points.
