On Tuesday morning, the Latta High School Resource Officer was notified by school administration about a social media post that had been brought to their attention, Cliff Arnette, Captain-Dillon County Sheriff’s Office. The post named Latta High in it, the post is being looked into by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office to determine if it was a threat and if it was directed at Latta High School or an individual. The Herald contacted the Sheriff’s Office for an update, but no information was received by press time on Wednesday.
