Dillon Family Medicine is offering telehealth services.
They are asking patients to call their office at 843-774-7336 and press option 2 or 7.
The patient should request a telehealth appointment, and the telephone operator will assist them.
At their appointment time, one of the nurses will text them a link with an access code. The patient just simply clicks the link and enters their name.
They will be placed in a virtual waiting room until the provider is ready to conduct the virtual office visit.
This telehealth visit is similar to FaceTime. They can see and speak to the patient, and the patient can see and speak to the provider and nurse on camera.
The provider will be able to assess and send in the appropriate prescriptions as applicable.
Telehealth will work on any device that has video and audio. Examples: phones, iPad, laptop, and/or desktop computer. It will work on both Apple and Android brand phones.
