Janet Elaine Delp Caulder, 82, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at Southeastern Hospital in Lumberton, NC.
Services were held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion. Visitation was held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 301 Hoole St., Darlington, SC 29532.
Born in Princeton, West Virginia, February 23, 1938, she was the daughter of a coalminer, the late Robert L. Delp and Cynthia Truitt Delp. She loved to cook and dance, and she loved her family, grandkids and great grandkids.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Carl Caulder of Latta; daughter, April Caulder Travers of Darlington, SC; grandchildren, Santana Miles (Spencer) of Darlington, Stephen Travers (Kasey Cox) of Darlington, Katlyn Travers (Jacob Barber) of Darlington, Riley Travers of Lugoff Elgin; great-grandchildren, Hunter Purvis, Allyson Purvis, Bentley Miles, and Jordynn Odom.
Mrs. Caulder was preceded in death by her son, Carl Lee Caulder; siblings, Robert Bill Delp, Jr., Ina Delp Hornsby, Mary Delp Mullis, Raymond C. Delp, Martha Francis Delp, Rosalee Joyce Delp, Hurley James Earl Delp, Frankie Delp, Alford Elmor Delp, Calvin Delp, Larry Delp, and Gary Delp.
