The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged Anthony Lamont Reed, age 50, of Mullins, with murder for the deadly shooting of James Chadwick Murphy, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
The murder occurred on Joann Branch Road in Dillon earlier this year.
Reed was taken into custody by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office.
Reed is currently in custody at the Dillon County Detention Center.
