Memorial services for Martha Margaret Scott will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be in Evergreen Perpetual Care Cemetery Mausoleum.
Mrs. Scott, 75, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, November 5, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Cook, Jr. and Mattie Turbeville Cook. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Eddie R. Scott of Dillon; son, Mark R. Scott (Mary) of Florence; daughter, Crystal Fields (Richard) of Florence; grandchildren, Jamison and Joseph Scott, Will Celmer, and Hope Fields; great-grandchild, Cole Celmer.
Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip & Mattie Cook; brother, Robert Cook; and her sister, Mildred Cook.
