A body was found on Highway 301 North in Dillon on Wednesday, according to Sheriff Douglas Pernell.
Coroner Donnie Grimsley identified the body as Stacalin Elizabeth Savage, age 23, of Dillon County. An the body will be sent for autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
No further information was available for release at press time. Pernell said the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Dillon Police Department are working jointly on the case.
