An attempted murder occurred on January 24th at Highway 301 South and Countryside Road in Dillon, according to a report by PFC Steven Ray Walker and Cpl. Kenneth Lamont Samuel.
Deputies were called to McLeod Hospital in Dillon in reference to someone getting shot. The victim, a 20-year-old black male, had been shot several times.
The matter is currently under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
