Two men have been arrested for a home invasion on July 1st on Catfish Church Road in Latta.
Raymond Jaheem Jones, age 20, and D’Andrew Sherwood Jones, age 21, were both charged with burglary, larceny, assault and battery second degree, and kidnapping.
The victim told deputies that he was cooking at his mother and father’s house when he heard a knock at the door. The victim opened the door halfway and saw a black male with a hoodie on. The man said something that he couldn’t understand so he opened the door to try to hear what he was saying. The man grabbed the victim by the neck and started hitting him. The victim said three or four males came into the house with their faces covered and at least two had guns. The victim was tied to a chair. The suspects went through his parents room. The victim’s cell phone was taken so when they left he untied himself and ran to a neighbor’s house for help.
