Services for David Locklear, Jr. will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Melody Land Faith Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Locklear, 58, died Friday, October 30, 2015 at his residence.

Born in Marlboro County, SC, January 7, 1957, he was the son of the late David Locklear, Sr. and Georgia Mae Locklear. He attended Melody Land Faith Chapel.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Joyce Ann Locklear of Latta; daughters, Denise Locklear of Latta and Melinda Nobles of Pembroke, NC; son, David Anthony Locklear, II of Latta; 9 grandchildren, Brittany Brumbles, Mariah Locklear, Raven Hyatt, Halie Nobles, Layla Nobles, Chenoa Jacobs, Ashton Adien, and Ansley Locklear; brothers, Carlo Locklear of Latta, Thurman Locklear of Clio, and Charles Locklear of Bennettsville; sisters, Frances Butler, Maggie Wilkes, both of Dillon, and Virginia Coleman of Latta.

Mr. Locklear was preceded in death by his parents; and his grandchild, Faith Nobles.
