Services for Alma McCracken Brown will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home.  Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
     Mrs. Brown, 74, died Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her residence.
     Born in Horry County, SC, August 7, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Albert McCracken and Marie Beatty McCracken.  She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, was retired from Burlington Manufacturing Co., and also worked at Dixiana Mills.
     Survivors include her daughter, Ann Brown Lowe (Steven C.) of Florence; sisters, Sarah Tuepker of NC, and Mary Frances Faircloth (Jessie) of Myrtle Beach, SC; nieces and nephews; special family members, David (Dolores) Jones, Amy Jones, and Caden Wallace, Maxine Tyndall, Sue McCormick, and Lois Berry.
     Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Rudie Brown.
     Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Carolina.
     The family would like to say a special thanks to their Aunt Sarah, Aunt Frances, and Uncle Jessie for all they have done during Mrs. Alma’s illness.
