Frances “Fran” Price Snipes, 70, died Monday, February 1, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Mount Andrew United Methodist Church with burial at Mount Andrew Church Cemetery, with Rev. Marty Nason officiating.  Visitation was held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon.
Fran was born in Bennettsville, SC on May 28, 1945, the daughter of Jack Dempsy and Mary Louise Grant Price. Frances was a member of Mount Andrew Methodist Church.  She was the widow of Robert Snipes.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Lloyd Snipes of Floyd Dale and Derek Snipes (Jackie) of Floyd Dale; daughter, Shannon Snipes of Lake City; grandchildren, Ben Snipes (Megan), Matthew Snipes, Jordan Snipes, Jeremy Snipes, and Eryn Snipes; brother, Bobby Price (Pat) of Georgia; and sister, Susan Villaluz of Jacksonville, Florida. Fran was predeceased by her brother, Gene Price.
