Eppie Moody Richbourg, 85, went to be with the Lord at her home surrounded by her family Monday, March 21, 2016. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2016 at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with entombment in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.. prior to the service at Kannaday Funeral Home.
Mrs. Richbourg was born in Dillon, SC on April 15, 1930, the daughter of the late Van B. and Ruth Berry Moody. She retired as a Newspaper Correspondent for The Charleston News and Courier. Eppie was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and the widow of Henry Leroy Richbourg.
She is survived by her son, Hank Richbourg (Patty) of Charlotte, NC; daughter Anna Ruth Cox (Will) of Montross, VA; and grandchildren, Jennifer Hausman (Jason) and Lee Richbourg (Abi); and great grandchildren, Emmaline Richbourg, Connor Hausman, and Eli Hausman. She was predeceased by her grandson, Ryan Lesesne Cox; brother, Howard Moody; and sisters, Eula Mae Bickell and Agnes M. Foxworth.
