The Dillon Herald has extended the deadline for political announcements from candidates who are seeking public office.
Candidates may run free of charge, one 2 column by 5 inch announcement which includes a one column by two and a half inch photograph in conjunction with a paid advertisement of 2 columns by 5 inches or larger that runs the same day.
Additional space for the news article may be purchased at the current advertising rate. We do not guarantee that the candidate’s photograph will run in color nor do we guarantee front page placement or a particular run date. Announcements must be received by April 15th. Candidates will only be allowed to run one free announcement with a paid ad.
