Augusta, GA – Ms. Sylvia Lee Hayes entered into rest on Sunday, April 10, 2016.
Ms. Hayes was born on September 24, 1926 to the late Leona (Elvington) and Fulton Lee Hayes.  She was of the Pentecostal – Holiness faith.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, quilting, and sewing.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cade Tyler Hayes; her daughter, Christine Smith; her sisters, Pauline Pravatte and Bertha Hayes; and her parents.  Survivors include her son, Lewis Hayes (Diana) of Augusta, Georgia; her daughter, Fay Manning of Augusta, Georgia; her son, Jerry Hayes (Bobbie Ann) of Aiken, South Carolina; her son, Sparky Hayes (Joan) of North Augusta, South Carolina; her brother, Harmon Hayes; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia 30906.  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at Hayestown Cemetery in Lake View, South Carolina.
