Brenda Faye Lovett, 50, died May 22, 2016, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after an illness.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Piney Grove Freewill Holiness Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon County, December 8, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Thompson and Sarah Dean Thompson. She was a member of East Dillon Emmanuel Holiness Church, and she was a loving wife, sister, and aunt.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Lovett of the home; brothers, Manning “Mushy” (Bridgett) Thompson of Blenheim and James “Weasel” (Susan) Thompson of Latta; nieces, Shannon (Marvin) Bryant and Charlene (Stuart) Poston both of Latta; nephew, Manning “Lee” (Brittney) Thompson, Jr. of Hamer; great nieces, Kayla & Sarah Bryant, Avery Poston, and unborn niece, Sage Poston; special friends, Lois Farmer, Mary Beth Cummings, and Normie Christian.
She was preceded in death by sister, Eunice “Coot” Turner; brother, Lawton “Buck”Thompson; and grandmother, Mandy Dean.
