Services for James Stewart Smith will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rowland Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
James, 29, died Monday, October 17, 2016.
Born in Dillon, SC, March 2, 1987, he was the son of Duncan Stewart Smith and Donna Bethea Smith.  He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Stewart & Donna Smith of Hamer; aunts and uncles, Amelia (Jeff) Merrick, Mary (Steve) Riley, Joseph Smith (Kellie Pratt), Chrissty (Darren) Branch, Amy Bethea, and Andrew David Bethea, II (Alice); numerous cousins.
James was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha Inman Smith, Duncan Smith, Andrew David Bethea, and Victoria Ann Rowell.
