Mr. Sam D. Graham died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at McLeod Medical Center of Dillon after an illness.
 
A graveside service will be Sunday, November 6, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery of Nichols, SC.  The family will receive friends Saturday, November 4, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home of Lake View.
 
Mr. Graham was born in Dillon County, the son of the late Sam D. and Ella Vereen Graham, Sr. He was a US Navy Veteran and a farmer in the Nichols area.  He was also a member of Nichols Baptist Church.
 
Mr. Graham is survived by his sister; Leonora G. Watts; nephew; Sammy Watts (Deborah); daughter in law, Patricia Graham; granddaughters, Kristin and Celeste; niece, Fallon Walker (Matt); and special neighbors, Normie Turbeville and Loraine Hayes.
 
Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his parents; and his son, George N. Graham.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Nichols Baptist Church Building Fund.
