The West Florence Lady Knights defeated the Latta Lady Vikings 59-45 in varsity basketball action on Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the Gatorade Turkey Shootout Championship game.
West Florence’s Chanelle Hayes was named MVP. She scored 24 points in the championship game. Latta’s Mya McDuffie scored 24 points in the losing effort.  She was named to the all-tournament team.
The Vikings’ Brianna Green added 10 points, Arica Gandy contributed 7 points, Rowls and Campbell each added 2 points in the game.
