Mrs. Gussie Jackson Cox, 84, died Saturday, March 11, 2017, at her home in Fork, SC after an illness.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, March 14 at 3:00 pm at Floydale Full Gospel Church, with burial to follow at Hayestown Cemetery.
The family received friends, Monday, March 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Cooke Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cox was born in Dillon County, the daughter of the late Jesse and Ellen Watson Jackson.
She was a founder and faithful member of Floydale Full Gospel Church.
Surviving Mrs. Cox is a son, Danny Ray (Wanda) Cox of Fork; a sister, Ida Mae Blackman; grandchildren, James Cox (Michelle), Chris Cox, Rodney Cox (Charlotte), Pam Kissam (Ryan), Ashley Cox; and six great grandchildren, Madison Paige Cox, Peyton Cox, Hunter Cox, Rebecca Cox, Ali Cox and Drew Cox.
Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Edison Cox; and her son and daughter-in-law, James Earl and Jody Cox.
