On Thursday, March 22, 2018, just before 8:00 p.m., deputies with the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the park in Little Rock in reference to a shooting, according to Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
According to an incident report by deputies Kenneth Samuel and Troy Jones, when deputies arrived at the incident location there was a male victim that had been shot, the victim was transported by Dillon County EMS to McLeod Medical Center in Dillon. The shooting remains under investigation by the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office.
