Mrs. Lois Rauh, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, June 5, 2020 at her residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, on July 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Lyde Wise and Gladys Brigman Wise. She retired as a bookkeeper and office manager after many dedicated years of service from the chiropractic offices of Dr.’s Jeff Henry and Tony Smith in Colorado. She was a faithful member of Latta Baptist Church, where she loved to teach Sunday school and was a volunteer with the church bereavement committee.
Among her many hobbies, she enjoyed gardening, loved flowers, especially red roses, camping, fishing and RVing. She was a former wedding planner and President of the Donation Ministry for Single Women in Colorado. She enjoyed playing Hand and Foot with her card playing friends. She had a servant’s heart and her giving spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Bethesda Southern Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. The Rev. Rob Pierce will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Melvyn Dale Rauh of the home; daughters, Angela Wallace (Tom) of Latta and Kimberly Gallegos (Chris) of Colorado; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Worth, Chris Peters, Daniel Wallace (Allison) and Brittany Wallace (John); 4 great-grandchildren, Aubrie Worth, Donivan Worth, Liam Wallace and Wesley Wallace.
She was preceded in death by her parents listed above and a sister, Eva Wilma Wise.
