Frank Arthur Maynard, 73, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 5, 2020 surrounded by his family.
Born in Putnam, Connecticut, on March 3, 1947, he was the son of the late Fernand Joseph Maynard and Irene St. Germaine Maynard. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and attended Dillon Second Baptist Church. He retired from the City of Dillon. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandpa, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Evaleen Ervin Maynard of Dillon; children, Carrie (Bryson) Rowe of Florence, James Maynard of Florence, Jennifer (Pedro) Gomes of Lexington, SC, Michael Maynard of Dillon, Leslie (Brian) Loggie of Darlington and John Maynard of Florence; a sister, Rose Mary Lewis (Donald) of Dillon; 5 grandchildren, Hannah, Brian, and Briana Loggie, Katelyn and Emily Gomes; a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
