Karen Lee Horne, 57, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at McLeod Medical Center in Florence after an illness.
Born in Boonton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie B. Hyatt and Barbara E. Britt Driggers. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and loved riding motorcycles with her husband.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gene Franklin Horne, Jr. of the home; mother, Barbara E. Britt Driggers and husband Larry of Latta; sons, Robert Horne and wife Regina of Michigan and Eddie Hunt of Pamplico; daughters, Kylie Hyatt Pompey and husband Darnell of Latta and Shanon Floyd Gregg of Pamplico; brother, Johnnie Hyatt and wife Marie of Dillon; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 7-9 P.M. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home.
