Graveside services with full military honors for Donald Glenn “Pete” Shillingburg will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Evergreen Perpetual Care Cemetery Mausoleum directed by Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Shillingburg, 85, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence.
Born in Osage, West Virginia, April 14, 1935, he was the son of the late Stanley Harper Shillingburg and Mona Warnick Shillingburg. He was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, and retired Captain with the City of Dillon Police Department. He was a member of Lighthouse Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include his wife, Margie Shillingburg of Dillon; son, Stan (Francis) Shillingburg of Dillon; grandchildren, Derek Shillingburg (Drew) and Dara Shillingburg; sisters, Margie McDonald, Sandra Starnes, and Janet Logan, all of Texas.
Mr. Shillingburg was preceded in death by his brother, James Shillingburg; and sister, Linda Shillingburg.
