On September 3, 2020, Whittaker Head Start partnered with the Dillon County Long Term Recovery Group to provide personal protective equipment to new and returning families.
Parents received bags containing hand sanitizer and masks.
First Aid Kits were distributed as well.
This PPE Drive Through was coordinated by Chevella German, Family Advocate; Eleanor Fleming, Family Services Coordinator and Kenneth Smith, Chief Executive Officer, DCLTRG. Georgea Bryan, Family Advocate, and Tonja McCoy, Strengthening Families Site Coordinator, assisted with the event.
Parents were very appreciative of the supplies and are looking forward to a successful school year.
