Services for Burk Lovette were held 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2020 at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Melody Land Faith Chapel Church Cemetery. Visitation was held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday at Cooper Funeral Home.
Mr. Lovette, 71, died Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at McLeod in Loris.
Born in Marion County, SC, May 10, 1949, he was the son of the late Whiteford Roberts and Beulah Mae Lovette Roberts Hunt.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Donna Lovette; children, Mattie Lovette, B.J. Lovette, Kerry Lovette (Joei), Jessica Lovette (Jimmy), John Lovette (Lindsey), Kenny Lynn Locklear, and Heath Locklear; step-children, Keith Locklear and Angie Locklear; brothers, Edward Roberts (Nikki), Hayward Roberts (Tammy), James Roberts, and Berry Roberts (Cheryl); sister, Helen Locklear; 21 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lovette was preceded in death by his mother, Beulah Mae Lovette Roberts Hunt; father, Whiteford Roberts, brother, Johnny Roberts; sister, Thelma Alford; and son, Mark Locklear.
