Gerald Liston Hatchell, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Services will be held on November 1, 2020 at New Life Worship Center in Dillon at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will be held 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
He was the son of the late Liston and Maybell Hatchell and husband of the late Lois Carbell Hatchell. He is survived by his children, Dwayne (Cindy) Hatchell, David (Jamie) Hatchell, Derek (Sharon) Hatchell, Sharon (Ray) Black, and Devin Hatchell; sisters, Dot Hatchell and Susie Lee; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
Mr. Hatchell was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny, Larry, and Charles Hatchell; sisters, Helen Lane, Gracie Jackson, and Barbara Chipman; and a grandchild Devin Liston Hatchell, Jr.
Gerald and Lois, former pastors of New Life Assembly were instrumental in building the church. Only heaven will reveal the value of their labor.
