LATTA – Beverly Jean Overby, 73, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Kannaday Funeral Home Chapel in Dillon with Rev. David Sekura officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020, at the funeral home.
Beverly was born in Diamondville, PA, on May 1, 1947, to the late James and Betty Dilts. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Mrs. Overby was of the Baptist faith and the widow of Robert Overby.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughters, Jennifer Overby Watson (Richard) of Latta and Tammy Swem of Greenville, PA; brother, Ron Dilts (Judy) of Arizona; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband listed above; step-father Geno Desantis; brother, Sonny Dilts; sisters, Shirley Sekura and Janet Riddle; son, Robert James Overby and grandson, Robert Kage Overby.
