Did you know all about the virtual programming that is offered by the library?
Over the past year due to the pandemic, we have changed the way that the library has offered programming, and we want to continue to offer our patrons virtual services for when you are not able to come to the library.
What virtual services do we offer you ask?
Well, we offer digital eBooks and audio through the Palmetto overdrive and the Libby app. You are now able to check out ten eBooks and audio.
The best part is you don’t have to remember to return them because they return themselves.
The library also has a YouTube page where we have children’s programming and computer classes.
Our YouTube channel features Fantasy, our library bear.
We also offer virtual programming through our page on Facebook®.
Over the last few months, we have done several programs including: Virtual Art Program, Virtual Egg Hunt, Show Us Your Favorite Part Of Town, and Fantasy Hide and Seek.
This year our Summer Reading will also be held virtually through our YouTube and Facebook® pages.
When we get closer to the Summer Reading dates, we will have more information.
If you want to know what is happening virtually at your library, please go to the Dillon County Library Facebook® page and click “like.”
The library is offering wonderful programming, and we would love for everyone to be able to take part in it.
