Several people have filed to run for office in the Town of Latta general election coming up in December. The positions included in the election are mayor and three council seats.
Filing for mayor were Robbie Coward and Teresa Mason. The current mayor, Nancy Brigman, did not file.
Filing for council were incumbents Jarett Taylor and Brian Mason as well as Lizzie Crawford, Kevin Drawhorn, Marcus McGirt, and Robert McIntyre. Trudy Drawhorn, who currently holds the third seat up for election, did not file.
The election will be held on Tuesday, December 7th at the Latta Arts Center. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Town of Latta residents who wish to vote in this election must be registered to vote by November 7th.
