The S.C. Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) is now accepting applications for the McBee WMA Quail Lottery Hunts through October 15th. A non-refundable fee of $20 is required of all applicants for the lottery. Youth hunters on the application must be at least 10 years old but at least one adult must be the primary applicant. There can be up to 3 hunters on an application. All hunts are one-day hunts (9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.).. The limit of quail will be a total of 10 birds per hunting party. Hunters must provide their own dogs and equipment during hunts. After the selection process occurs, all applicants will receive email notification after the drawing’s completion.
