The Dillon Christian School Lady Warriors took a heartbreaking loss on Thursday, October 13, as they fell 2-3 to Trinity Collegiate.

The Lady Warriors took the first set 25-19 but narrowly lost the second to Trinity as the Lady Titans edged them 24-26. The Warriors dominated game three 25-16, but Trinity rallied for a 21-25 finish in game four. Ultimately the Lady Warriors would fall 15-17 in the final set to give Trinity the win.

Holly Davis led Dillon Christian with 15 kills and three digs and Courtney Miller made 24 assists and added two kills.

Kathryn Brown added seven kills and three digs ,and Lauren Lee made six kills, three assists, two digs, and two aces. Frances Stephens made three kills, two digs, and two aces, Amanda Bass made five digs, and Hailey Harris added one kill.

With only one game remaining, Dillon Christian is now 9-8 overall and 8-5 in the region.

The Lady Warriors play their final game of the season tonight when they host Marlboro Academy for junior varsity and varsity action beginning at 4:00 p.m. Be sure to come out to support our local team!
