Services for Bessie Bryant Hulon will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pyerian Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Mrs. Hulon, 92, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at her residence.
Born in Dillon County, September 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William J. Bryant and Fannie Webster Bryant. She was a member of Church of God, and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her children, Vernie (Sue) Hulon of Salisbury, NC, Shirley (Lafon) Hardy of Floydale, Eydie Engelmon of Salisbury, NC, Betty Hulon of Dillon, Margie (John) Reece of Snow Camp, NC, and Oral Hulon (Sarah) of High Point, NC; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; faithful & caring nurse of 7 years, Kathy Lane.
Mrs. Hulon was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hulon; and her son, Daniel Hulon.
