Services for John William Berry were held 3:00 p.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
Mr. Berry, 66, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at his residence. Born in Dillon County, February 11, 1945, he was the son of the late John Raymond Berry and Sue Meares Berry. He was a member of Kentyre Presbyterian Church, and was retired from Dupont.
Survivors include his sons, Timmy Berry, and Ray (Cherie) Berry, both of Hamer; grandchildren, Brandi, Ian, Leah, and Erica Berry; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald (Alicia) Berry of Hamer, and Lawrence (Dorothy) Berry of Venice, FL; brother-in-law, Clyde Goodwin of Cheraw.
