James “Jake” Wright David, Jr., died November 23, 2011. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday November 25, 2011 at the Main Street Methodist Church in Dillon, SC with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Kannaday Funeral Home in Dillon, SC.

Jake was born July 18, 1994 in Dillon, SC, the son of James “Jay” W. and Stephanie Greene David. He attended Dillon High School. He was a member of Main Street Methodist Church, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club, and the Dillon Varsity Football Team.

He is survived by his parents Stephanie and Jay David of Dillon, SC; Grand Mother, Peggy W. David of Dillon, SC; Grand Parents, Richard W. and Martha Greene of Cheraw, SC; Aunts and Uncles, Frank B. and Carol David, IV of Greenville, SC and R. Warren and Laura Greene of Cary, NC; cousins, Hannah Greene, Quint David, Lindsey Wilson, and Jessica David.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jake David Scholarship Fund, % Dillon High School, 1730 Highway 301 North, Dillon, SC 29536 or Main Street Methodist Church, 401 Main Street, Dillon, SC 29536.
