Mr. Bracey Leggett, age 89, of 8972 Hwy. 130 Fairmont, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2011.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Dick Alderman officiating.
Burial will follow in Floyd Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, night from 7-9 PM at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
Mr. Leggett was a WW II Veteran.
He was the son of the late Jake & Ella Barnes Leggett.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Leo, Wilbur, Ricks, Wade & Ralph; sisters, Earline, Ola, Ella Mae, & Jenny Rose and a grandson, Will Leggett and a granddaughter, Amanda Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lillian Oliver Leggett, daughter, Nancy & husband Eddie Lynn Johnson, two sons, William Gerald (Jerry) & wife Nell, John Bracey Leggett and wife Sandy; five grandchildren, Eddie L. Johnson, Jr., Jenny Johnson Blackard, Jake Leggett, Blake Leggett, Todd Leggett and seven great-grandchildren.
