Evea Dean Davis, 81, died Friday, October 5, 2012, at her daughter’s residence after an illness.
Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Monday in Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Visitation was 1:00-2:00 P.M. Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born in Marion County, SC, October 16, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Henry Caulder and Annie Cook Caulder.  She was a member of Little Bethel Baptist Church in Marion, she was the widow of 40 years to the late Henry Willard Davis, and had retired from Dixiana Mill with 33 years of service.
Survivors include her children, Lynn Hardwick (Kenny) of Nichols, SC and “Crickett” Henry W. Davis, Jr. (Diane) of Troy, NC ; granddaughter, Bridget Johnson (Steve) of Aynor, SC; grandsons, Casey Davis (Lauren) of Winston Salem, NC and Kendall Davis (Amy) of York, SC; great-granddaughters, Ashley Davis and Alyse Davis both of York, SC; great-grandson due in November, Ridge Kenneth Johnson; sister-in-law, Nellie Caulder of Columbia, SC.
