Bruce Grooms Price, Sr., 84, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence.  
     Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Price Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 1:00-3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
     Born in Dillon County, SC, October 11, 1928, he was the son of the late Henry S. Price and Ansel Walker Price.  He was a Farmer, member of Little Rock Baptist Church, a member of the Gideons since 1967,  and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
     Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Carolyn P. Price of Dillon; daughter, Connie (Randy) Dunn of Hampton, GA; sons, Bruce (Robin) Price, Jr.,  Tony (Lucile) Price, Phil (Ruth) Price, all of Dillon, and Sam (Celia) Price  of Hamer; brother, Jeff Price of Little Rock; sisters, Dorothy (Eugene) Beaver of Hartsville, Henrietta (Herbert) Herrman of Charleston, and Miriam Lounette Allen of Elizabethtown, NC; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson.
