Mr. Robert Alton Cook, Jr. died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at his home in Lake View.
 
Mr. Cook was born in Robeson County, the son of Mrs. Bobbie Holt Cook and the late Robert Alton Cook.  He served 6 years in the Army National Guard and was a Corporal in the Dillon City Police Department.  He was a member of Lake View First Baptist Church, and also an avid fisherman and animal lover.
 
A funeral service will be held at Lake View First Baptist Church on Sunday, February 10 at 3:00 pm, directed by Cooke Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery.
 
Surviving Mr. Cook is his mother, Bobbie Holt Cook; sons, Robert Alton (Bret) Cook, III (Kylee) and Brandon Douglas Cook; Brother Harvey Brent Cook (Zandra); Sister, Joy Taylor (Aaron); Grandchildren, Robert Miles Cook and Brady Douglas Cook; Nieces, Melanie McClusky and Kristin Jacobs.
