Services for Harold Douglas “Cotton” Jackson will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at East Dillon Baptist Church with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum.  Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home.
     Mr. Jackson, 67, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at his residence.
     Born in Dillon, SC, November 21, 1945, he was the son of the late Robert Knox Jackson and Kathleen Huggins Jackson.  He was a member of East Dillon Baptist Church, and was a small business owner of Dillon Meat Center established in 1980 and ran the business until his retirement in 2008.
     Survivors include his wife, Maxine Jackson of Dillon; children, Douglas (Ronya) Jackson and Terry Wayne (Brandi) Jackson, both of Dillon, Jay Jackson of Florence, and Stacy (Reid) Bethea of Aynor;  8 grandchildren, Kendall, Kyle, Loryn, and Kristopher “Nute” Jackson, Grier and Rynn Bethea, Knox and Kambell Jackson; brothers, Lowell Jackson of Dillon, and Rev. Alvin Jackson of Loris.
     Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Kathleen Jackson; and his brother, Ken Jackson.
