William M. Jackson

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Springfield, VA.  Beloved son of the late Margaret and Owen Jackson Sr., of Dillon, SC; beloved brother of the late Roderick Jackson Sr., the late Owen Jackson, Jr., and the late James Jackson Sr., beloved uncle of Kristine Jackson, Jennifer Rochefort, Emily Guerra, Margaret Egli, Owen Jackson III, James Jackson, Jr., Jeffrey Jackson,  and Roderick Jackson, Jr.  and beloved brother-in-law of Emily Jackson and Joanne Holman.  He was born and grew up in Dillon, SC; attended Dillon High School and went on to graduate from Clemson University.  He served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Coast Guard.  In the 70’s he moved to Virginia and worked and retired as an Architect-Engineer from the Federal Government.  Services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date and will be listed on the website www.demainefunerals.com.
