Services for John Weatherford will be held 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Weatherford Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Home, and at other times at the home of Bonnie Weatherford, 102 Bass St., Latta.
Mr. Weatherford, 78, died Monday, July 8, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Dillon County, SC, February 13, 1935, he was the son of the late John Hampton Weatherford and Dora Rachel Love Weatherford.  He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include his sons, Larry Weatherford and Henry Weatherford, both of Latta; daughter, Sylvia (Bobby) Weatherford of Latta; special & loving granddaughter, Jennifer Mae Weatherford; loving daughter-in-law & caregiver, Bonnie Weatherford of Latta; special friends, Curtis Lane, Louie Hooks, Linda Strickland, James Duke Smith, James Dew, and the Baker Boys & their families.
The family would like to thank McLeod Hospice, Regency Hospice, and Dr. Granville Vance for the care given to him during his illness.
