The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office is been investigating a shooting which occurred on Saturday.
Captain Cliff Arnette of the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office said that a 23-year-old male was asleep when several individuals went into his home. he was beaten and shot.
Devonte Wheeler of Dillon was taken into custody in connection with the case and has been charged with attempted murder and burglary.
The Sheriff’s Office is seeking for other suspects involved in the incident.
Anyone with any information in this case or who knows the whereabouts of the other suspects is asked to call Captain Arnette at the Dillon County Sheriff’s Office at 774-1432.
