Charles S. Snipes, 68, died Thursday, March 27, 2014, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Dillon First Baptist Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery directed by Cooper Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Born in Dillon, SC, September 23, 1945, he was the son of the late J.T. Snipes and Ruby Gough Snipes. He was the owner and operator of Flowers By Charles, and was a member of Dillon First Baptist Church where he was a Sunday School Teacher, and a member of the Celebration Choir.
Survivors include his sisters, Trudy (Bill) Woodle of Salisbury, NC, Bonnie (Robert) McIntyre of Dillon, Lila Snipes of Salisbury, NC, and Diane (Gary) Nesbit of Salisbury, NC; brother, Tim (Nikki) Snipes of Hamer; special friend, Cynthia Mumford of Dillon; step-sister, Sharon (Cecil) Lane of Calabash; 3 nieces and 6 nephews.
Mr. Snipes was preceded in death by his grandparents, D.C. & Mary Ann Snipes and J.T. & Maggie B. Gough.
