Officer Oliver Wayne Campbell has been promoted to the rank of assistant chief.
This became effective as of April 23rd. He has been employed with the Lake View Police Department since December 14, 2012. Since then, he has completed the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy as of September 20, 2013.  Officer Campbell was promoted to the rank of corporal on September 27, 2013.
Chief  James T. McDaniels said he would like to congratulate Campbell and looks forward to the opportunity of working with Campbell in his new position.
