Dear Editor:
Recently a group of Dillon County citizens were fortunate to be entertained by a magnificent group of local performers, The Latta Community Singers. Sadly, the Ellis Center for Performing Arts was not filled to capacity to celebrate the joyous and patriotic performance that I was lucky enough to hear. It is a shame to have such a wealth of talent from our county and surrounding area and people not take advantage of the wonderful, free opportunity. I encourage all citizens who enjoy choral presentations to attend some of the upcoming events. The next performance will celebrate the Christmas season. If you want free, wholesome, excellent showcasing of Dillon County’s finest vocalists and musicians, please plan to join me at the Christmas program.
