The Dillon County Council has approved two readings of two ordinances adopting and approving two zoning map changes.
The first zoning map change involves property in the Little Rock area (Tax Map #032-00-00-129 Delaney Property Group, LLC) where there are plans to put a Dollar General store. To acres of the 12-acre parcel would be changed to General Commercial. The Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 2nd and approved the request. The council approved the first reading on June 18th and the second reading on June 25th.
The second zoning map change involves property at Highway 34 and Caldwell Road (Tax Map #058-00-00-053 Marlboro Development Team, Inc.) where the Harbor Freight Tools retail store will be located. This will be a 15,000 sq.ft. retail building. The Planning Commission held a public hearing on June 18th and approved the request. The council approved the first reading on June 18th and the second reading on June 25th.
