Mr. Melvin Moody died Saturday, September 13, 2014 at McLeod Hospice House of Florence after an illness.
Mr. Moody was born in Dillon County, the son of the late Malcolm and Alice Sasser Moody.
Mr. Moody is survived by his wife, Esther Moody; step-daughters, Dovie Freeman, Deborah Conway, Martha Allison; brother, Johnny Moody, sister, Peggy Hendrix, a nephew, Mack Moody; and a niece, Rosie McClellan; and special friends, Rhonda Faircloth, Scott Moody, and Earl Kirby.
A private memorial service may be at a later date.
