Mr. James Clarence “Buddy” Reaves, III, 62, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Mullins Nursing Center after an illness.
Buddy was born December 23, 1951 in Mullins, a son of Billie Kate Allen Page and the late James C. Reaves, Jr. He was a retired automobile salesman. Buddy attended Carlisle Military School in Bamberg, S.C.
Surviving are: his Mother: Billie Kate Allen Page of Mullins; his Daughter: Kimberly Ann (Wesley) Jordan of Mullins; a Grandson: Daniel Wesley Jordan; a Sister: Kathy (Don) Herring of Mullins; 2 Brothers: Edward Bryan Reaves of Mullins and Allen (Margaret) Reaves of Mullins; and several nieces and nephews.
Buddy was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis Elaine Purvis Reaves and a sister, Helen Reaves Covington.
The family received friends Monday morning, October 6, from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
A memorial service followed at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Kirkland and Rev. Chadwick Ivester officiating.
